Box Throughput at Shanghai Grows 7.7% in September

Shanghai port has handled 3.37 million TEUs in September, up 7.7% compared to 3.01 million TEUs in the same months last year, according to figures from Shanghai International Port (Group) Co (SIPG).

On a month-on-month comparison, volumes represent a 2.6% decline from 3.46 million TEUs registered in August.

For the first nine months, its accumulated throughput stood at 28.87 million TEUs, up 4.6% compared to 27.60 million TTEUs in the corresponding period in 2016.
