MOL, Compliance with IMDG 2016 edition (Amd 38-16) as of November 1, 2017

As of January 1, 2018 IMDG code 2016 edition (Amd 38-16) will come into force and will be superseding IMDG code 2014 edition (Amd 37-14).

As a result of this all DG shipments have to comply with the 2018 edition even if the shipment is under transportation at sea.

In order to avoid any trouble such as shut out of DG shipments at import or transshipment port after January 1, 2018 (considering transit times of shipments on long leg services), as of November 1, 2017 (date of shipment) MOL will only accept DG declarations that are in compliance with IMDG code 2016 editio
