Following on the advisory circulated on 23 June (subject line “Notice to customers related to the Qatar situation for new bookings to/from Qatar”), we are pleased to update that APL will now reinstate the Hamad port call to APL’s West Asia Express (WAX) Service.
Cargo loadings and discharges at Hamad will continue to comply with the on-going sanctions imposed by several Gulf nations, including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain.
The reinstatement starts with APL Yangshan v.243, scheduled to call Qingdao, China, on 30 August 2017.
