Hapag Lloyd, Australia – Revision of Import Detention Tariff (MHD)

With effect from November 1, 2017 Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Import Detention Tariff (MHD) for the following 20’ Equipment Type applicable for all shipments to Australia as follows:

* 40’ Standard and Special Equipment tariff remains unchanged.

Remarks:

1) Tariff Count Day refers to Calendar days (Public Holidays are not included).

2) Calculation:

  • Detention free time starts from the day of discharge (discharge full) to the empty return of container to the terminal/depot.

3) No changes to the existing tariff for Temperature-Controlled Equipment.
